Evia Film Project 4: Rediscovering the Greek summer from the beginning!
Aidipsos, Limni, Agia Anna
17–21 June 2025
The Film Office of Central Macedonia participated in the 4th Evia Film Project, a “green” initiative of the Thessaloniki International Film Festival, held on Northern Evia.
Led by the Regional Governor for Tourism, Mrs. Vicky Chatzivasileiou, our team:
- Took part in the Agora’s activities, focused on sustainability and circular economy, through creative meetings, inspiring masterclasses, outdoor explorations, and a unique self-awareness workshop.
- Embraced this year’s Agora theme: “Slow networking, exploration, and reconnection”, highlighting the essential bond between cinema, place, and local communities.
- Joined forces with the EU Programs & Synergies Department of the Region of Central Macedonia to support environmentally responsible and inclusive actions — a shared priority on both a regional and European level.
- Participated in educational programs for children and youth in nature, as well as open-air screenings of Greek and international films celebrating the Greek summer.
A heartfelt thank you to the Thessaloniki International Film Festival for the warm hospitality!
