The Film Office of Central Macedonia is participating as a partner in the European project Green SCAP – Green Skills for Cinema and Audiovisual Production, an innovative professional training programme aimed at developing sustainability expertise in the film and audiovisual sector.

Green SCAP targets sustainability managers and environmental professionals who wish to enhance their skills and apply them within the field of sustainable film and audiovisual production.

Four (4) participants from Greece, preferably from the Region of Central Macedonia, will be selected to join the programme, which includes a combination of theoretical modules, practical workshops, case studies and site visits.

What the programme includes:

• 3 online training sessions

• 3 in-person workshops in:

  • Venice (February 2026)

  • Thessaloniki (March 2026)

  • Mallorca (July 2026)

Participants will be trained in tools such as carbon calculators, environmental certification processes, sustainability guidelines, and practical simulations.
