Thessaloniki and the Region of Central Macedonia will host the third and final week of the EAVE 2025 Producers Workshop, the leading European training program for producers in the audiovisual sector. The event will take place for the first time in Greece, in Thessaloniki (October 27 – November 3, 2025, at the Porto Palace Hotel), with the support of the Region of Central Macedonia.
The EAVE 2025 Producers Workshop’s third and final session in Thessaloniki is organised in partnership with the Greek Producers Association SAPOE, in collaboration with the Thessaloniki International Film Festival and AGORA, and supported by EKKOMED Hellenic Film & Audiovisual Center, Region of Central Macedonia (Directorate of Tourism & Film Office Central Macedonia), ERT, COSMOTE TELEKOM, Cinobo, Oxbelly, the Athens Film Office and Grand Thornton Greece.
A total of 98 leading professionals from the international audiovisual industry will gather to meet 53 emerging producers from 35 countries and discuss 27 fiction, documentary, and series projects developed this year within the framework of the EAVE Producers Workshop, under the guidance of EAVE experts.

We are consistently pursuing our strategic goal to position Central Macedonia on the global audiovisual map, highlighting its multiple strengths — both in production and in film tourism,” Ms. Chatzivasileiou added.
A special spotlight on “Producing with Greece” will showcase the country’s thriving audiovisual landscape, featuring insights from Athena Kartalou (General Director of the General Directorate of Greek Cinema, EKKOMED-Hellenic Film & Audiovisual Center), Amanda Livanou (Neda Film) and Neoklis Mantas (Head of the Hellenic Film Commission, EKKOMED-Hellenic Film & Audiovisual Center), moderated by EAVE National Coordinator Konstantinos Kontovrakis. The session will be followed by a cocktail hosted by the Greek Producers Association SAPOE, with a presentation by the Film Office of Central Macedonia, delivered by the Head of the Film Office, Mrs Lina Milonaki.
About the EAVE Producers Workshop
As part of EAVE’s annual training program, the network’s participants will present their projects to experienced professionals from the audiovisual sector. During the third workshop in Thessaloniki, participants will introduce themselves, their companies, and their projects, and take part in tailor-made one-on-one meetings with top international producers, curated by EAVE.
The first two sessions of the EAVE 2025 Producers Workshop took place from March 7-14 in Luxembourg and from June 23-30 in Vitoria-Gasteiz, Spain.
