Documentary Workshop for Emerging Directors and Producers

The Greek Documentary Association presents “With Eyes Wide Open 2025”, an intensive documentary workshop designed for emerging directors and producers. The workshop will take place at Stavrakos Film School over two weekends — September 20–21 and October 4–5, 2025, from 10:00 to 17:00. Participation is free of charge.

Celebrating its 10th edition, the workshop offers participants an immersive experience that guides them from concept development to production dossier creation. Through a blend of lectures, discussions, and mentoring, creators will have the opportunity to refine their ideas, explore the creative process of documentary filmmaking, and present their projects to industry professionals.

The program is open to directors and producers in the research or development stage and is led by experienced professionals in creative documentary. The top 12 projects will participate in a final pitching session, while five additional participants will be accepted as auditors.
