On the occasion of the re-opening of the Archaeological Museum of Polygiros, the Ephorate of Antiquities of Halkidiki and Mount Athos is organizing a film festival about archaeological films at the open-air space of the Archaeological Museum of Poligiros on Thursday, July 21st, Friday, July 22nd and Saturday, July 23rd, 2022, at 20.30.
The program includes a retrospective of submarine archaeology, films promoting archaeological sites, and inspiring figures in philosophy and archaeology.
Plus a masterclass for filmmakers specializing in archaeological films, who will share their views on working on this special film genre.
