Two important MOUs (Memorandums of Understanding) between the Film Office-Central Macedonia and the Aristotle University Film School, as well as the Department of Balkan, Slavic & Oriental Studies of the University of Macedonia, were signed by the Regional Governor Apostolos Tzitzikostas, the Rector of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki Mr Nikos Papaioannou and the Vice Rector for Research and Lifelong Education of the University of Macedonia Mr Dimitris Chandrakis.
The MOU’s will step up cooperation between the Film Office-Central Macedonia and the two university departments with the scope to better support students and professionals that shoot or are interested in shooting their projects in the region and, at the same time, to strengthen film education and training.
Professors Mrs Eleftheria Thanouli and Mrs Fotini Tsibiridou, presidents of the aforementioned university departments, also attended the event.
