Two new Hollywood films, shot in Thessaloniki, were announced today during the meeting of the Regional Governor of Central Macedonia, Mr Apostolos Tzitzikostas, with the American film producer of Millennium Media, Mr Rob Van Norden.
During the meeting, in the presence of the Vice- Governor for Tourism, Mr. Alexandros Thanos, and executives of the Film Office – Central Macedonia, Mr. Tzitzikostas and Mr. Van Norden, discussed extensively on Millennium Media’s two new Hollywood productions, about the company’s studios in Thermi, the films that they are planning to shoot in the region of Central Macedonia and the progress of the films that have already been shot here, as well as for the footprint of the overall film investment in the local community and economy.
During the meeting, Mr. Van Norden offered Mr. Tzitzikostas the original trowel, which was used in the filming of “The Bricklayer” by the protagonist of the movie Aaron Eckhart, which is signed by him, as well as by his co-star Nina Dobrev, and director Renny Harlin.
