The Best Location Award by the Hellenic Film Commission of the Greek Film Centre was bestowed to the location manager George Babanaras for the film “Behind the haystacks” by Asimina Proedrou (Argonauts Productions). The award, which is accompanied by 1.500 €, was granted at the closing ceremony of the 63rd Thessaloniki International Film Festival.
“Behind The Haystacks” is the first Greek film production, which was supported by the Film Office-Central Macedonia. The film carried out a large part of its filming in Lake Doirani and in the wider area of the Regional Unit of Kilkis.The film received a total of six awards at the closing ceremony of the 63rd Thessaloniki International Film Festival.
