“Cultural heritage in film frames with the eyes of teenagers”
Educational program.
The Byzantine towers of Halkidiki inspired four groups of high school students in Halkidiki, who shot a short film each, under the guidance of three Film School students from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
Their films premiered at the closing ceremony of the pilot educational program
“Cultural Heritage in Film Frames with the Eyes of Teenagers” was held on May 17, 2024, at the Municipal Theater of Polygyros.
The young filmmakers were given awards, in the presence of the Vice Governor of Chalkidiki Mrs Katerina Zografou.
The program was designed and implemented by the Ephorate of Antiquities of
Halkidiki and Mount Athos, Aristotle University’s Film School, the Thessaloniki Cinema Museum, and the Film Office- Central Macedonia.
With the support of the Municipality of Polygyros and the Directorate of Secondary Education in Halkidiki.
