With deep sadness and respect, we say goodbye to Manousos Manousakis, one of the most important and beloved directors of Greek cinema, who passed away yesterday, November 20, 2024. We had the honor and luck of working with him on the filming of the series “The Red River”. His generous nature of character, his passion for art and his dedication to his work will forever be etched in our memory.
The Film Office of the Region of Central Macedonia feels special gratitude for the cooperation of Manousos Manousakis and his contribution to the development of the audiovisual industry in our region and from place to place throughout Greece. His loss is great, but his work and his legacy will continue to inspire future generations of creators.
May his memory be Eternal.
