The Interdepartmental Master’s Program (IMTP) “Tourism and Local Development” of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, in collaboration with the FILM OFFICE of the Region of Central Macedonia, is organizing a conference titled:
“Cinema, Environment & Culture: The Green Perspective for Sustainable Local Development”.
The conference will occur on Monday, March 31, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM, at Amphitheater II of the KEDEA (Center for the Dissemination of Research Results of AUTh), on 3rd September Street.
During the event, presentations will be made on the role of cinema, environment, and culture in shaping strategies for local tourism development. Special focus will be given to green prospects for promoting and protecting each area’s unique characteristics, integrating sustainability principles, and promoting cultural heritage at the local and regional levels.
The conference aims to contribute to the creation of innovative tourism products and business activities, promoting sustainable development and environmental protection.
