From October 30, 2021, the filming of the new Hollywood movie “The Expendables 4” is expected tol begin in Thessaloniki, as the Regional Governor of Central Macedonia, Mr Apostolos Tzitzikostas, and the Millennium Media film producer, Mr Rob Van Norden, announced today, after their meeting.
Mr Tzitzikostas and Mr Van Norden discussed about the preproduction of the film “TheExpendables 4″ – a 19 million euros budget film – at the headquarters of the Region of Central Macedonia, in Thessaloniki, in the presence of representatives of the Hollywood production company and the Region’s Film Office-Central Macedonia.
After the meeting, Mr. Tzitzikostas pointed out that “the second major Hollywood film production, which will be filmed in Thessaloniki, will bring to the city many old and new Hollywood star , big names in world cinema, who will once again highlight our region and its potentials in the world map of audiovisual productions. After all, this was the goal we had set as the administration of the Region and we are satisfied to see that it is being implemented”.
