What do a tufted tree, an adventurous teenage girl, a dog with a great sense of smell, and a four-legged robot have in common?
They are the mascots of Kids Love Cinema, the youth screening program of the Thessaloniki International Film Festival. The TIFF’s mascots were designed by Nadia Stassinou, character designer (www.imaginaryrooms.com), and brought to life by Vassilis Terzopoulos, author of children’s books and member of the festival team.
The Thessaloniki International Film Festival invites you to meet them on Sunday, October 16, 2022, at 12:00, in the Pavlos Zannas Hall of OLYMPION. Vassilis Terzopoulos will be at the screening and he will present the mascots, Root, Niki, Patrick and the robot Aki Smaki 5-15, in a special event full of surprises! The event will be followed by a screening of the heartwarming 1941 animated classic film “Dumbo the Elephant”.
