10 unique film landmarks.
10 unique Greek films, which are screened in the locations where they were born.
The Film Directors-Producers Guild of Greece (ESPEK) organizes a special road trip for Greek cinema. A self-propelled vehicle, with all the necessary equipment, becomes a moving open-air cinema, which crosses a large part of the country, looking for locations where important Greek films were shot.
With the scope to highlight the relationship between Greek films and the areas where they were filmed, but also to develop close ties between Greek films and the public, “Landmarks” maps a cinematic route throughout Greece. The trip includes 10 stops and 10 screenings of iconic Greek films, which created an intimate relationship with the places where they were filmed, leaving their imprint on the history of Greek cinema.
