The annual festival for dance works on screen, Thessaloniki Cinedance International is back (Sept. 23-25, 2022)!
In its 5th year, TCI brings 40 films from 17 countries in 3 screening sessions and 2 Virtual Reality helmets for 360° viewing. In endless combinations of choreography, visual composition, and musicality at Vitruvian Thing, the TCI season 5 official selection explores different approaches to dance on screen, known as screen dance or videodance. The selected films include works by accomplished and new creators, with international awards, premieres, and participation in the world’s biggest festivals.
The festival organizes its 5+ hours of material into 3 screenings, 1 each day, at 21:00. On Saturday and Sunday from 18:00, in collaboration with the VR Academy, 2 Virtual Reality helmets will be installed so that the public can watch 360° dance works. You can bring your refreshments and drinks. With the communication support of the Film Office-Central Macedonia.
