The Regional Film Education Network of Central Macedonia is hosting a screening of “The Teachers’ Lounge” directed by Ilker Çatak on February 24th at 16:00 at “Makedonikon”.
The film follows a young teacher facing a theft incident, leading to escalating tension and ethical dilemmas. It delves into the complexities of teaching and caring, highlighting discomfort within the school environment.
A post-screening discussion will explore school community issues with Dimitris Papadopoulos from the Film School, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, and Anna Bibou from the School of Primary Education, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
