The Film Office-Central Macedonia participated for the first time in “When East Meets West” – WEMW 2024 in Trieste, where it joined forces with the Greek film team, in collaboration with the Greek Film Centre.
It was a productive time, rich in networking and collaboration opportunities with national and regional audiovisual institutions and companies and film professionals from all over Europe who participated in WEMW 2024, to strengthen extroversion and co-productions in our region.
The Film Office-Central Macedonia expanded its networking with regional Italian Film Commissions (Apulia Film Commission, Veneto Film Commission). It also held meetings with Greek and foreign audiovisual professionals, to attract new film and television projects to Central Macedonia.
Moreover, our Film Office had the opportunity to explore the prospects of cooperation for developing projects and actions that strengthen local European markets in the audiovisual sector.
