Led by the Vice Governor of Tourism Mrs Vicky Chatzivasiliou, the Film Office-Central Macedonia participated in the Marché du Film of the 77th Cannes Film Festival (May 14-25, 2024), one of the largest international film markets.
The Film Office-Central Macedonia joined forces for the third year with the Greek film delegation at Cannes (Greek Film Center, EKOME, Thessaloniki International Film Festival, Drama International Short Film Festival), to inform Greek and foreign audiovisual professionals on the comparative advantages of Central Macedonia as a competitive filming destination, as well as to participate in meetings and events with European film organizations (among them EUFCN, EAVE & Torino Film Lab).
