Filming in Thessaloniki is expected to begin in two weeks, with Antonio Banderas in the protagonist’s role, as well as many Greek actors joining the cast. The permanent title for this action movie is ” Barracuda” .
The announcement was made after the Regional Governor’s meeting today with the American producer of Millennium Media Robert Van Norden and the production manager Mr Dimitris Kambas, who discussed with Mr Tzitzikostas details about the Hollywood production which will film exclusively in the city of Thessaloniki and all the surrounding area –between the film’s locations are the Delta of Axios River and Thermi, where the Nu Boyana Hellenic film studios will be constructed in the following months.
