‘’Those who survived ..seek the strength to love again..! The war still stays on, Story goes on..”. ”The “Red River” Manousos Manousakis popular TV series comes back for shooting in Central Macedonia. The new production is actually ‘ ’The Red River” sequel. The successful TV series was first broadcast on Open TV, season 2019-2020 and its prominent theme is the genocide of the Pontian Hellenism. Since last time, first film shootings, in Thessaloniki and Veria, last July, Team Manousos Manousakis returns to our town for new shootings in the arcade and the pedestrian area of Agios Minas. The new cycle of the television series “The Red River – The Sequel” refers to the difficulties of the heroes and the adventures of Hellenism in the period from 1919 to 1923.
The series is a production of “TILEKINISI S. A. ” and will be broadcast by OPEN TV in the 2022-2023 season. The filming took place with the support of the Film Office of the Region of Central Macedonia.
