The Film Office-Central Macedonia participated in the 2nd Evia Film Project, the green initiative of the Thessaloniki International Film Festival, in Northern Evia. This year’s event allowed audiovisual professionals to meet and network in northern Evia (Edipsos, Limni, and Agia Anna), in a series of screenings of environmental awareness films, educational activities, open discussions, and masterclasses with Greek and foreign filmmakers.
Particular attention was given to location, with a masterclass of the line producer of Heretic, Mrs. Danae Spathara, on “Filming in Evia – Case study: The triangle of sadness”. Mrs Spathara presented the histories behind the location scouting and the filming of the Palme d’Or award-winning film “The Triangle of Sadness”, by the Swedish director Ruben Ṏstlund, which was partially shot in northern Evia.
