The European Commission is launching a new project for a greener future in the film sector in Europe. This includes standardizing the measurement of CO2 emissions for audiovisual productions and creating a new web tool that will be available in 2027.
The tool will allow data exchange and comparison between Member States, be easy to use, and provide up-to-date policies at the European level.
The project is commissioned by the companies Seriotec and KlimAktiv, with the support of the Creative Europe MEDIA program.
