The 9th Thessaloniki Animation Festival (TAF) is returning from October 21-24, 2023, both in-person at the Port (Warehouse D) in Thessaloniki and online from October 25-30, 2023, with free admission to all screenings, talks, and activities.
TAF is collaborating with the American Documentary and Animation Film Festival (AmDocs) to feature an anthology of animation films from AmDocs, the largest festival of its kind on the West Coast of the USA. In addition, TAF will pay tribute to the Anibar Animation Festival in Kosovo, focusing on promoting the animation industry and using animation to raise social awareness. The Balkan Animation Pitching Forum (BAF) will also be part of the festival for the fourth year, providing Balkan animation creators the opportunity to present their projects to experts who will choose three winners and award prizes.
The 9th Thessaloniki Animation Festival is organized with the support of the Film Office-Central Macedonia.
